Pennsylvania Dental Licensing

Update: 7/19/23:  We have had our date in court in December.  The court has yet to give any type of update on the matter until this last Friday.  The court has informed my attorney that the Commonwealth court in its entirety will be visiting our case and will deliberate.  This is better news than a flat out "no".  I really believe we will find a resolution.  This court date is set for September of 2023.

Update 11/4/22:  We have a date in Commonwealth court to have 3 judges view and listen to our case.  We have 7 minutes to describe the injustice the dental board has caused the patients in Elkland , my dental team and myself.  In December they will listen to oral arguments and then take their sweet time, 4 to 6 months, to decide who is correct in this situation.  Therefore, as of now, we have no anticipated re-open date.  Unfortunately, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Dental Board has failed both you and I, not only with dental care, however, also professionally.  Some have decided to actually leave the office for dentists in NY.  I find that quite ironic, given the arguments coming from the board.

I have been attempting to obtain my Dental license in the Commonwealth now for around 18 months.  The ROGUE dental board opinion is that New York State Dentists are licensed in such a manner as to not be "Substantially Equivalent" to Commonwealth dentists.

I would like to take this opportunity to break down the differences (and similarities) between the New York Dentist and the Pennsylvania Dentist.  In the end, it will be clear that we should already be providing the Elkland Borough with the most updated dental equipment, procedures and techniques available!

SEE YOU SOON ELKLAND!!!  Today, we were issued a license to practice dentistry in the Commonwealth!  I would like to thank everyone for their continued support and love during this troubling last 3 years.  Our office will be state of the art, welcoming to all and affordable for the community the best we can make it.
